Aubrey Peebles Photography

I’m Aubrey, the girl behind the giant camera. I developed a love for photography in middle school. I used to use my dad’s tiny point-and-shoot camera to take macro shots of dandelions out in the yard. Something about turning a thing as ordinary as a weed into a work of art, and freezing a moment for the rest of time, was fascinating to me. Throughout my school years, I saved up all of my money to buy a camera of my own, and I took off running from there. I took pictures of everyone and everything, and started to get serious about photography and editing. I eventually got a job as a newborn photographer on contract with local hospitals, and used that time to really gain experience and knowledge about the world of photography. I truly fell in love with taking photos, and from then on I knew I wanted to pursue this as my career. I’m living my dream, providing people with memories they can look back on for life.

When I’m not taking photos, or spending hours in front of my computer screen editing them, I’m relaxing on the couch with my wife and two cats, while drinking espresso and binge watching Lost or Grey’s Anatomy.
